WHO IS PIE TOWN?
We are an indie team who met at the PIT when the godfather of NYC improv, Patrick McCartney, mashed us up to open for his twoprov show with Jenny Bareilles. That was in March of 2022, and since then, Pie Town has done ONE HUNDRED SHOWS! Our permanent players are Emily Anderson, Murphy Baker, Owen Engesser, Ben Hirsch, Sarah Wingo, and Shareef Taher.
WHAT ARE PIE TOWN’S CREDS?
In our 15 month life span, we’ve gotten a residency at The Player’s Theater, had a slot in the Brooklyn Comedy Collective’s Fun and Dumb Improv festival, received acceptance into the 2023 Baltimore Improv Festival, hosted monthly variety shows, and played more bar shows than we thought was humanly possible.
