PREREQUISITE: YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED LEVEL 5 IMPROV TO QUALIFY FOR THIS CLASS. In the comment section of Checkout, please list when you took said classes and who your instructors were.
If you fail to meet the prerequisites for this course and continue to register anyway, we will have to transfer you out and add the balance as class credit, to be used for other classes.
This level is about highlighting the importance of the ensemble. Long form improv is best when an ensemble truly works and flows together, otherwise known as “group mind.”
This is how we get there. This is how we build a real ensemble.
This class will become your ensemble for these 8 weeks. This course will be honing in on structure-starting out with tight Harold’s (including an opening). As a part of an ensemble, you will learn how to bring out the best in each other through effective communication.
Ultimately, the objective is that each ensemble will create and perform whatever form of their choosing that is fun for them and plays at the height of their intelligence.
***Grad Show will be held on Saturday 12/23 @2PM***
* As of 7/1/2023, we are instituting a strict no refund policy.
Please note, class start dates are subject to be postponed up to 4 weeks from original posted date
