Your Awkward Crush (“YAC”), pronounced yack (plural yack or yacks), focuses on character driven sketches. We incorporate original musical elements to drive emotional focal points, similar to the butterflies, nausea, or general awkwardness you feel around your crushes. As an ensemble, YAC is: Awkward. Yes. Crushes. Debatable. Either way, this sketch show is guaranteed to make you feel something. Hit us up if you wanna YAC. xoxo.
Stars and Gripes
Jonah and LanDis have been performing comedy shows that reflect on their military service and experiences since 2015 when they became founding members of the all military sketch ensemble Stars and Gripes. And they performed their first two-person Stars and Gripes show this year, Not So Lethal Weapons (The Second City’s Judy’s Beat Lounge), which dives into the absurd and the truly fascinating characters they met along the way and explores the life-long bond formed by serving.
Sketchfest is back! This is the 9th annual festival and first time back since 2019 (you know because of that pandemic thing). NYC Sketchfest is New York City’s premier sketch comedy festival and one of the nations largest. This years festival is focused on highlighting local, national, old, and new sketch teams and bring them all together again! This 4-day sketch-tacular programming that will not only include incredible sketch shows, but panel discussions, writer’s rooms, and more!
