HEY ROOMMATE
On their way to Edinburgh, their plane crashes into (insert comedy theater)! Hey Roommate (Comedy) Presents: In A Borough (say it quickly), a sketch show about two roommates (Jorge & Peter) and their love/hate relationship for this city (New York City), Scott Stapp (lead singer of Creed), and each other (Peter & Jorge). Featuring an array of classic New York characters including Spiderman, spotted lantern flies, and Al Gore!
Peter Collier is a classically trained actor from Cranford, New Jersey while Jorge Oyola is a classically trained DJ from Orlando, Florida. Don’t hold their home states against them.
They have performed at celebrated venues such as Caveat, Cutting Room, Instagram & TikTok (@heyroommatecomedy).
NYC SKETCHFEST’24 aims to showcase both local and national sketch teams, spanning from established favorites to emerging groups, fostering a collective reunion of sketch brilliance. Programming will include DIGITAL SKETCH HOURS, the 24 HOUR SKETCH SHOW and more!
