PREREQUISITE: YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED LEVEL 1 IMPROV OR EQUIVALENT AT ANOTHER COMEDY THEATER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS CLASS. Level 2 Improv recommended. In the comment section of Checkout, please list when you took said classes and who your instructors were.

If you fail to meet the prerequisites for this course and continue to register anyway, we will have to transfer you out and add the balance as class credit, to be used for other classes.

Practice getting out of your head and being fully present in your improv scenes. Using a blend of mindfulness exercises and improv exercises, students will work toward taming their inner judge and unleashing their inner child to build upon the fun with their scene partners. Perfect for newer improvisers who are stuck in their head after learning “too” much or experienced improvisers who need to tap back into the FUN of improv.
