The Peoples Improv Theater proudly announces the in-person return of SOLOCOM NYC!
Solocom NYC has launched over 400 new solo comedies that have gone on to longer runs, tours and festivals around the world (including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.)
Solocom NYC is a festival of new solo work. All shows presented are 75% – 100% new material, and are created specifically for the festival. NYC Solocom’s goal is to push artists to create a show that is meaningful, personal and to follow the fear.

Blood and Water is a modern day story of two star crossed lovers; a Jewish woman and a Palestinian man meet on the subway in New York City one steamy July night and quickly fall in love. Forced to question everything they thought they knew about love, religion, family, and loyalty they must decide if love is strong enough to conquer all or if blood truly is thicker than water.
Mila Levine// Leaving Kiev: Part Two
An autobiographical show about a timid Jewish girl from Kiev, Ukraine who immigrates to the US and who has always wanted to fit in – filled with original music and poetry. “Leaving Kiev” is about leaving home we always carry inside.
