Inspired by his 31 Triggers book and podcast series, the live show challenges audiences to reflect on what sparks joy, frustration, or reflection in their own lives. Galinsky’s creative goal is to foster deeper understanding, empathy, and connection through his engaging, relatable, and often hilarious interpretations of these triggers. By combining his skills as a performer, author, and voice coach, 31 Triggers Live creates an interactive and immersive experience that leaves audiences entertained, enlightened, and eager for more.

A real tale of a midschooler trying to find their way in life after being bullied, moving in with her grandma and losing both parents.

Exhausted Alien – KARLA MELLETT

I wrote a 12 episode series about an exhausted Alien whose been abandoned on earth. Andy comes from the planet of Delphinapterus. She comes from an extremely evolved species of beluga whales who communicate telepathically and function on instinct and instant karma. They’ve been called from Earth’s belugas to destroy an evasive species, humans. When Andy is left behind she needs to decide is her mission to help humanity evolve, destroy them completely, or did she fuck up so bad in life she was doomed to spend the rest of her days on earth as a human. In this 20 minute performance she will be playing out the pilot or a compressed one woman play of the 12 episode series.

I’m putting the finishing touches on my debut POP-R&B album which I fully self-wrote and co-produced as a reflection of my journey leaving everything behind and start over in a new country. From vibrant tropical pop to haunting electronic ballads. For SoloCom NYC 2025 I would love to bring this story to life in an intimate live set; raw, honest and deeply personal. It’ll be an immersive experience that pulls the audience into the highs, lows and everything in between in life. It’s bold, original and I believe aligns with the soul of SoloCom. I’d love the opportunity to share this journey on your stage!

SOLOCOM NYC has launched over 400 new solo comedies that have gone on to longer runs, tours and festivals around the world (including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.)

SOLOCOM NYC is a festival of new solo work. All shows presented are 75% 100% new material, and are created specifically for the festival. SOLOCOMs goal is to push artists to create a show that is meaningful, personal and to follow the fear.
