How to Get the F*ck Out – PETER LIU
After his misguided optimism led him to work in the tech industry for five years, Peter Liu crashed and burned. In the five years after that, Peter lived through a pandemic, a climate crisis, and the re-election of Donald Trump, all while Peter witnessed the ridiculous ways in which technology converted us cult members around all of this. Through an informative mix of storytelling and stand-up comedy, Peter explores how we got here, how to get out, and why you should probably get off your phone and go outside.

A Milf has Fallen – PAIGE SMITH-HOGAN
Paige’s mom died when she was 20. Paige never got her license, so she spent almost everyday in high school with her mom, being driven around and helping her mom run her baking business. Paige’s mom was stern, funny and no nonsense and didn’t believe in the power of modern medicine, just drinking water and lying down. Come see Paige roast her hot mom, and wonder what she would think now.
I’m hoping to bring this show to the Edinburgh Fringe, so I want a longer set to work it out. I run the show Dead Parent Society at Caveat! This show was featured in the New York Comedy Festival, and I do material about my mom in it. This is my chance to write a cohesive story, instead of more one-off standup-y material.

Don’t Tell Woof Woof – LAUREL CUMMINGS
For a decade, my dog was my best friend. I was that girl who brought her dog in my purse everywhere. He’s been my date to weddings. Then I had a baby. Then I had another baby. Now I love him, but I’m not…IN love with him. You know? This show is about my evolution from single standup to married mother of two as told through the relationship with my dog, Griffin, whom my kids have renamed “woof-woof,” the final indignity. Between my baby destroying her diaper, my son taking a stand against potty training by pooping on the floor, and the now-somewhat-neglected dog having diarrhea, our apartment tracks more body fluids than a party at Diddy’s house. It, and this show, is a bit messy, chaotic, but ultimately comforting.
