Shuo Shu (说书) – ALEX LOH
A traditional Chinese storytelling (说书 “shuo shu”) piece, a boisterous art form that blends narrative, theatrics, character, and crowd work — popular in teahouses since the 13th-century Song Dynasty. The show features an abundance of props and costumes to vividly portray people and scenes. Alex’s hope is to offer a unique cultural experience, introducing an ancient tradition to contemporary Western audiences.

Lazy Eye – MONICA MCFAWN
Lazy Eye, the debut solo show from writer, performer, and visual artist Monica McFawn, is an exploration of life from a slightly askew perspective. Growing up with a crossed eye, Monica couldn’t help but question the way doctors casually labeled her condition “lazy.” Lazy? Was that the best they could come up with? No one ever talks about loser kidneys or slacker thyroids—so why was her eye getting such a judgy label? In this show, Monica takes audiences on a humorous journey of self-discovery, from her initial resentment toward her “lazy” eye to ultimately embracing it as a symbol of how she’s seen the world differently all her life. Blending storytelling, stand-up, and visual art, Lazy Eye takes the audience through bizarre and absurdly relatable episodes in Monica’s life—from criminal misadventures in Ohio to struggles with eye contact, from a quirky obsession with pet rats to reflections on disability and labor rights. Lazy Eye is a wildly personal, yet universally relatable tale about finding meaning in the places where things don’t quite align.

An Inconvenient Truth 3: This Time, It’s Even More Inconvenient – CLAIRE GREISING
I set out to write a show about the cultural significance of Al Gore—but somehow, it became an exploration of my own fears, frustrations, and follies instead.
Part Al Gore biopic, part climate change investigation, and part classic one-woman show, An Inconvenient Truth 3: This Time, It’s Even More Inconvenient also features a blow-up Al Gore sex doll, an anecdote about being abandoned at an Air & Water Show, and a heartfelt song delivered to the last polar bear floating on the last ice drift on Earth.
Get ready to party like it’s December 13, 2000!

I gonna piss u off – OBI
Taboo galore, Obi O’Brien combines stand-up and clown comedy with a promise to piss you off. Come annoyed, it’s gonna get messy.

Intrusive Hollers – EMMY HARVEY-PARKER
“This show is a semi-autobiographical country cabaret show that combines sketch, dance, and storytelling to explore the inner demons that a Bible-belt upbringing has left me.”
