Extra Dry – MICHELLE RENEE JOHNSON
What lengths would you go to to be remembered? Would you give up your memories for the sake of the story? This autobiographical solo show brings the audience through the journey of a young woman who finds solace in alcohol when she realizes others tend to enjoy her company more when she is drunk. The main character soon has to weigh if the damage she is doing to herself–and others–is worth it for the entertainment of the stories that live on long after the night is over.

“Sounds Fine, Moving On” is a musical solo improv comedy that turns audience suggestions into hilariously unexpected moments of song and story. Armed with a quirky, pre-determined character, I dive into spontaneous scenes inspired by the audience’s chosen situations, crafting improvised songs that bring each scenario to life. From the ridiculous to the heartfelt, every performance is a one-of-a-kind experience filled with laughter, music, and surprises. Whether it’s a bizarre encounter or a mundane moment made magical, this show is all about embracing the chaos and having fun with the unpredictable.
