In Level 3 Acting, students will work on challenging their instrument, both from a physical standpoint and a character standpoint. In this class, students will be tasked with more complex and demanding material (both dramatic and comedic) that will stretch their acting muscles in an exciting new way.

Using the lens of storytelling as an actor, you’ll begin your training at The PIT by sharing simple stories as yourself, and as characters.

In Level 2 Acting, students will embark on their scene study journey, as well as continue to work on their physical tools (voice and movement). Through a series of imagination exercises, improv work, and craft building techniques, you’ll secure a strong foundation for performing both on stage and on camera.

In-Person Actor’s Toolkit | Bareilles SAT 3:00-5:30 PM

Saturday 11/8 – Saturday 12/20

Instructor: Jennifer Bareilles

Over the 6 weeks, you will be using improv exercises and tools that are intended to strengthen yourself as an actor. The first three weeks of the session will provide you with various tools and methods to utilize and access within scenes as both an actor and improviser. The last three weeks of the session will be putting all of that to use through a deep exploration of scene work.
