Kevin Allen

Kevin Allen is a comedian, journalist, and a native New Yorker, not necessarily in that order. He’s a writer and performer for Savage and Xtremely Serious Wrestling at The Peoples Improv Theater. Kevin is also a founding member of the indie sketch comedy team, Sunday School Dropouts. This year, Kevin landed his first starring role in a commercial; playing a Dad in an ad for Sam’s Club. In 2018, Kevin was named a quarterfinalist in The Black List’s Macro Episodic Lab pilot writing contest. When he’s not writing pilots or performing, Kevin produces the 5pm news at channel 5 in New York City. He’s also a board member and faculty member at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Greater New York, where he teaches adults and children about the art and science of yoga. Kevin graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Government. Earlier this year, Kevin finally moved into an elevator building, fulfilling a lifelong dream of not having to haul laundry up and down the stairs.
