Keith Horvath
Keith is an international teacher and director currently serving as the Director of Classes for The PIT Comedy School. He has twelve years of experience teaching, directing, and performing improvisation and sketch comedy with over twenty years of theatre experience.
Keith comes from Chicago where he served as Adjunct Faculty at Columbia College Chicago in the Comedy Writing and Performance major, Faculty Advisor to Sketch Club, and a director for multiple improvised and scripted shows. In addition to these credits, Keith is an alumni of The Second City Directing, Conservatory, and Comedy Studies programs, and iO Chicago’s improv program. He has worked all over Chicago, including a teacher/director in The Second City Training Center and Assistant Director for BlueCo, a Second City National Touring Company; Director of Youth and Outreach, teacher, and director at The Playground Theater; and was the Class/Internship Administrator, director, and creator of College Night at The Annoyance Theatre and Bar. Keith has devised and directed nearly four dozen original scripted shows, and has a passion for character creation, writing sketch through improvisation, and directing.
