Andy Shartzer

Andy is a writer, performer, and rapper from Williamsburg, VA. He has studied improv with UCB, Freestyle Love Supreme, North Coast, Washington Improv Theater, and ComedySportz. In addition to his PIT ouse team, andy performs regularly with his indie hip-hop improv team Boots N Cats (@bncnyc). He has performed at improv festivals in NYC, Boston, DC, and Baltimore as well as internationally in Berlin and Tokyo. Andy is a member of Overstep Comedy (@overstepcomedy), an all-Asian American sketch comedy group (He is one quarter Japanese and just made the cutoff). Originally born in California and growing up as a military brat, he has lived all over the US and attended eight different schools from K-12. He once won 6th place in doubles bowling at the Tennessee state bowling tournament.
