PREREQUISITE: We ask you have studied improvisation for at least two years or more to register for this class. In the comment section of Checkout, please list when you took said classes and who your instructors were.
If you fail to meet the prerequisites for this course and continue to register anyway, we will have to transfer you out and add the balance as class credit, to be used for other classes.
This 6 week class will examine your strengths and weaknesses as an improviser (real and perceived). We will look at how you can excel in different performance styles (fast versus slow and various improv forms like the harold/monoscene). In addition, there will be focus on how you fit into a show (robot, pirate, ninja). We will examine your physical style of play, your skills as an actor, timing on stage, emotions, etc. So let’s check under the hood and take it to the next level!
