The Understudies
We’re an indie musical improv team and our show conceit is that the audience was coming to see the premiere of a brand-new never before seen musical but unfortunately the entire cast couldn’t make it because they all got jury duty (or other comedic reasons) but don’t worry we, The Understudies, have been called in. And, if we could just be reminded of the name of the musical, (that we totally remember, and are off book for, and won’t make the entire thing up on the spot!) we can perform it for you now.
