Jason Tyus Smith is the Staff Producer at the People’s Improv Theater, overseeing in-house programs like Fresh Faces and The 24 Hour Sketch Show. A 2020 Film Production grad from Sam Houston State, Jason moved to New York to pursue film but found his passion in sketch comedy. He writes, performs, and produces with teams like Chimp CocktailJudy Pryor, and College Radio. In October 2024, he debuted his solo sketch show Intentional Slacker: The Fool Redux. Jason is thrilled to direct the absurd sketch team at PIT and bring his unique vision to the stage.
